Description

0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection, commonly known as Normal Saline IV, is an essential intravenous fluid used in hospitals and healthcare facilities for hydration therapy and electrolyte maintenance. It is supplied in flexible infusion bags for safe and convenient intravenous administration.

The solution is isotonic with human plasma, helping restore extracellular fluid volume without causing osmotic imbalance. It is widely used in routine IV therapy, emergency care, perioperative fluid support, and as a compatible carrier for various injectable drugs.

How It Works

Contraindications & Precautions

• Contraindicated in patients with hypernatremia or hyperchloremia
